FROM 28 TO 30 JANUARY 2020,
BORDEAUX METROPOLE WILL HOST THE 21st EDITION
OF THE EUROPEAN ENERGY TRANSITION CONFERENCE
GREATER GENEVA: The call for contributions launched on 3 July!
As announced at the 2017 European Energy Transition Conference in Bordeaux, the next edition of the Conference will be held at the end of January 2018 in the cross-border region of Greater Geneva.
As every year, the organizers of the event – the Greater Geneva Conurbation, Bordeaux Métropole, the Dunkirk Urban Community and ADEME are launching a call for national and international contributions for the drawing up of the programme around a leitmotif: « cross-border cooperation for energy transition ».
The coming edition will mark a renewal with 5 contribution formats submitted to the proposers. It is in fact possible to « organize an event» at the Energy Conference via the « Inspiration » (experience sharing workshops), « Challenge » (co-creation spaces) and « Speed-dating » (idea sharing space for project owners) contribution formats or quite simply « share suggestions » concerning the drawing up of the programme via the « Fan » (suggestion of a speaker) or « Topic » (suggestion of a subject or issue) contribution formats.
As of 3 July next, all the energy transition players - elected representatives, citizens, researchers, university dons, industrialists or again technicians - will be able to log on to the event website (www.assises-energie.net), access the specifications and have until 5 p.m. on 15 September to submit their intervention projects. Only constraint: a maximum of 2 proposals per organization.
Last year no fewer than 300 contributions were received.
