This year, the Climate Chance Observatory has produced a qualitative summary of the actions being taken by
non-State players in the ecological transition. In its first edition, which was published in late 2018, the sections
of the report dedicated to the energy industry described the rapid changes taking place throughout the sector
and the factors explaining the inversion in the greenhouse gas emissions curve, which started to once again
climb in 2016. This global analysis also features six case studies on Canada, China, Germany, Kenya, Portugal,
and the United States.
