Last January the 21st edition of the European Energy Transition Conference brought together nearly 3,500 participants. Representatives from the public authorities, economic and academic worlds and the civil society, gathered together for three days at the Palais des Congrès (Convention Centre) in Bordeaux, to discuss and debate energy transition around the leitmotif « Together, let us cultivate the power to act».

During this 21st edition, which took place from 28 to 30 January, it was demonstrated that the local driving forces play a predominant role in the implementation of energy transition and sustainable development policies in conjunction with the other fields of urban policy: town planning, housing, economy, environment, social affairs. Several high spots emerged during this Conference: we propose to go back over eight of them that were given special mention by the press and the social networks.
