The structuring of the sector is an opportunity to create jobs in local areas and develop their economic activities. Green hydrogen has many qualities and multiple applications. Its CO2 emissions are null and it can easily be stored and transported. Used as an energy vector, green hydrogen can be used to decarbonate many sectors: the industry, mobility uses, heat and power generation, and offers a solution to renewable energy irregular production.
Arnaud Leroy, President of ADEME will present the place of hydrogen in the French national energy mix. Philippe Vasseur will tell us to what extent hydrogen represents an opportunity for development as part of the Rev3 approach in the Hauts de France Region. Finally, Franck Bruel, deputy CEO of ENGIE will share his vision of the hydrogen sector and the first experiments, especially those conducted in the Hauts de France Region by the Urban Community of Dunkirk and SMT Artois Gohelle.e.
